|  Event Photos (and write up)
I'll continually update this post everyday with a link to a gallery on my site featuring pictures from the west coast crawler challenge... I'll probably do a quick write up as well... Day 1: Day 1 was basically just check in, tech inspection, and course walk... Although, to most, it was more than that. It was a reunion, meeting with people they can only meet 4 times or so a year. It did seem like most stayed with in their club though. Although many enjoyed the rock featured at the event, it seems like it will only do little to help on these tough courses, featuring steep side hilling (with gates), steep up hills and downhills, jumps, bowls, and more! I've never seen courses quite like these. Infact, during the walk, a few questioned the designer, thinking even he didn't make it around the course (although he ran them all, and made sure it was possible). Aside from the courses, the danger of running off the course is there, as some courses are up to 10 feet off the ground. A fall from that height will definitely snap something off of your rig. The Weather was perfect though, a bit on the hot side, but with a little cloud cover, and a nice breeze rolling through made it fine. I'm looking forward to finally getting a bit of sleep, and watching the comp tommorow... Be back at this thread around the same time, if not sooner for an update with pictures.
