I wish the weather help out for us. We had some killer courses and some close runs setup. I really like that location and should try to revisit before the end of the season

| Comp #6 Results
Well Guys, we got washed out as you know! We only got 2 courses in, and the last three competitors could not even finish their 2nd run. Sorry guys, especially Troll, who was trying to get his 2nd run in, but something about a grown man standing on a mountain during a thunderstorm with an anttena pointing skyhigh, was unsettling. Erin, Sam and I discussed how we should score this, since we could not complete the comp. Sam suggested we throw out all of course 2 scores since it was not complete. I would have been fine with that since I was in 1st on course and really screwed the pouch on course 2, however the truth is, 80% of the competitors did complete course 2, so we could not penalize them. And the last few competitors would not have moved up in the points series(Sorry guys, no offense intended) and the course 2 scores would effect the top 5 positions. The last 3 competitors that did not get to complete course 2 were given the benefit of the doubt and "awarded" 1 point more than the next highest score. So Joe got 18 points so those three got 19 points. I do hope you guys understand the logic. We did not want to penalize you guys, but be as fair as we could. So Here's How It Shakes Out!! Comp #6 standings #1- Erin 19pts AKA erin #2- Lee 30pts AKA The Real Dogman #3- Sam 41pts AKA Nigels_World #4- Nick 42pts AKA Nick C. #5- Greg 53pts AKA GregsGraphx #6- Travis 55pts AKA Travis174 #7- Joe 58pts AKA Joemamma95 #8- Dan 59pts Gate 7 on 1st course AKA 69mutt #9- Troll 59pts Gate 5 on 1st course AKA Troll #10- Chris M. 59pts Gate 4 on 1st course AKA ckmehl #11-Arron 80pts Ok thats it guys Last edited by The Real Dogman; 07-16-2008 at 11:03 AM. |
