I couldn't make the last obstacle on the 2.2 course either, it was brutal!! I was the only one to finish without pointing out, just to clarify.

Kenny actually was suffering from Short Wheelbase Syndrome... and Fishmax... well that may have been the beer.

Thanks Chafey, I think Its all about finding the exact lenth and gc that works best for your terain, and I've found that 17.5" wheelbase and a 5.75" ground clearance works fine for me !

I learned that everything I learned dont matter when someone else has learned to deal with what I learned and learned how to make it werk!! I'm just glad Sparky and Bender are on OUR team

I also learned that 5998 servos need more amperage than 5645 servos.

Well Hope to see you all out next year. We are excited about the creation of an all new class, OLD SCHOOL. We are ironing out all the details and will have the official spec for Old School soon. For now here is a preliminary spec list:

Class 2 - Old School Class

- Limited to ClodBuster, TXT-1 or E-Maxx configuration.
- Vehicle wheelbase is a maximum 14 inches..
- Limited to ClodBuster/TXT, standard MAXX sized wheel or smaller. Rim Narrowing is allowed.
- Limited to un-modified tires only (straight out of the bag).
- Limited to 4-wheeled vehicles only.
- 4 wheel steering allowed, Y-harness only. No crab steer or independent rear steer allowed.
- You must run a body (full tube chassis acceptable).
- The body must be 1/10th scale or larger.
- Limited to full body only (the only trimming allowed will be fender flairs).
- Chassis are to be "OLD" style chassis such as; clodzilla/gecko/inetrc/Mach1/v2/vPrime/CX/NN/hand built style... No stick type or other high clearance style chassis allowed. This class is to be like what alot of us first built as inspired by the Mudcow... It's OLD SCHOOL.

If any Class 2 vehicle violates any of these guidelines it must be run in the Class 1 – STP Super Class

Also, please note UTRCRC will not allow anything but TLT-1 Axle based crawlers in their 2.2 Class in 2006.

-PF

I was hoping you would allow 2.2 wheels. Maybe I'll just run my 2.2 All-T's.
