We try to have comps in a variety of areas so it's a little more fair for everyone with regard to driving distance, home turf, variety of terrain etc. Way back, when we had only 15 to 20 guys attending it was a lot easier to find locations that worked. Bean Hollow was one our best locations and we had several comps there. Unfortunately because of the amount of people attending our comps now we have access issues at Bean Hollow. We probably won't be able to have comps there anymore.

This will be the first Nor-Calrcrc comp at the Manteca location. I have not been there myself but know through talking to a few people that there will be some interesting and challenging lines at this comp.

Some of our best spots are not very central for people attending Nor-Calrcrc comps. Folsom is a 3 hr drive for Rtdshaw and me. Pacific Grove is a 3 hour drive for the guys north of the Bay. Anything near the coast is a long drive for the guys in the Sierra foothills and Sac area. Manteca is pretty central and can handle the number of competitors that will be attending.

the pictures posted really do not give this location any justice. there are some really challenging lines and some really tuff courses have been made out of them.
