I plan on working on my TXT tonight. Gonna tinker with battery placement, maybe rotate the transmission.... stuff I shouldn't be doing with the comp less than a week away. Oh well, if it works it works. ;)

Back when I was into 1:1 rockcrawling, I would park my rig and not drive it at all 3-4 weeks before a trail ride. I knew the truck was in good working order and didn't want to risk breaking something that I might not have time to fix. I'm the same way with my R/C trucks. My nearest hobby shop is 45 minutes away and keeps bankers hours. It'd be Saturday 8th before I could get there to buy any parts....

Eeepee, yup it has a fairly largish' campground area up top that you can stay in (free). I took some pictures last time I was up there if your interested. Aubie-the motel 6 in Morgantown is your best bet-let me know if you need a phone number or address. |

Jr's first ever time being driven was a Buck's Pocket and I made the servo mounts at 1am. The Stick I ran at GR last time was built after we got back from Lone Star. Quote:
Mina has a 4-day weekend that weekend. Thinking about staying with family in Lexington but that'd be a heckuva drive Saturday morning. I guess now I'd better figure out which truck to drive.
