There is also a USFS camp site 5 miles from the comp area, sites are $9 a night, no showers, just bathrooms. Go to www.USFS.com and look up Rimini Montana. Moose Creek camp area .

The Comp site is on private property this year, we got a generous donation of land, 880 acres, about 5 square miles of wilderness, NO CAMPING on private ground, sorry. We will need to respect his ground and do a SERIOUS clean up before we leave.

The road to the site is a county road, rimini road. It is dirt and gravel with washboards and bumps like most forest roads. Parking will be one thing we have to pay attention to for sure. If you can carpool to the site that will be very helpful. there is lots of room, however, if we have too many rigs, they will have to park in a single file line. There is pleanty of parking at the bottom of the hill, however, that is almost a mile from the comp site, so you will need to shuttle up there with others if you drive alone.

Although scale rigs are the main theme of the event, bring anything you want. 2.2s and 1.9s will have the most fun here. We will run 2.2 comp rigs on their own course's, Sunday, USRCCA rules apply. http://usrcca.com/rules.htm

We will have a raffle and drawing for this event, so if you and your company would like to donate raffle items and have your name on the Banner,Advertising, Magazines and T-shirts, please PM me. We need them by April 30th, no exceptions.

Dammit I guess I can't go then, and I'd assume that Gerrish shouldn't go either.

Whats the best hotel? I would like to stay around fellow crawlers so I can find the comp easier and possibly carpool up to the actual comp area.

A few of us from Oregon and Washington are staying at the Windgate Inn. From what I can tell it's the highest rated reasonably priced hotel in Helena. We'll be there Tuesday night through Sunday. To tell you the truth, I doubt you'll spend much time in your room. Most of the time you'll be up in the woods and over at Bens house.....

Looks intresting, Ill definely have to check it out. I will have to see if I can make it, even if just to watch.
I dont think my build qualifies for the roack comp. Its more of a trial runner anyways. lol. Thanks unimogger for the P.M. maybe later on Ill stop by when i get my competition crawler built.

Are we stayin at Motel 6 this year?
Wonder what other gadgets I should bring along to mess with besides RC stuff. Think the motel would get pissed if we turned their parkinglot into a paintball course.

Well I do have a few bridges I could try to bring...

I have 2 bridges well suited for 1.9s (not pictured one is a bit shorter with same style):

I also have this bridge suited for 2.2s and anything smaller:
