2010 VARCOR Event #4 - Sunday, January 24, 2010

It's about the half point thru the 2010 Point Series. Event #4 will be on Sunday, January 24th, 2010 in Richmond, VA at Belle Isle.

At this event, we will be implementing the new rules from USRCCA. To see the rule changes and updates, click here for the official 2010 USRCCA rules discussion. At the drivers' meeting, we can discuss any additional questions, issues, or concerns that is not discussed in that post.

Course setup will start before 8:00 am
Registration and Tech will start at 9:00 am
Drivers Meeting / Course Review at 9:45 am
Start Competition at 10:00 am

We will need volunteers to setup the courses. Also, if you have stop watch or timer, please bring it for the judges. Also, prepare for the weather since Bell's is pretty much open to the elements. And remember for the newbies, it's a long walk to the comp site (aka... the dreaded stairs and walking over the rocks) so bring everything you need to be out there (tools, parts, food, water, extra clothes, good shoes, etc).

For once, I'm posting a makeup date if it's there's bad weather in Richmond. I will make that decision Saturday morning before the competition. The makeup date will be the following Saturday, January 30th.

Please post here if you plan to attend and if you will have a 2.2 Comp, 1.9 Comp, 2.2 Sportsman, or Super. The main event will be the 2.2 comp class. Based on turnout, we'll run either the other classes afterwards or during the 2.2 comp class - remember, only 3 drivers are needed to run a class.
