|  RC Crawling at a UROC Comp! I've been bustin' my nuts to make this happen, here's the way it is right now... I spoke with Mark Patey, the president of UROC. He's all for the idea of having a RC Crawling comp in conjunction with a 1:1 comp. It would be killer exposure for both hobbies. As of now it seems as if RC Driver and UROC will be working together this spring to bring 1:1 crawling and RC crawling together. Anyway, as of now the dates will most likely be in the Spring, March 3rd-5th timeframe. So, who's down with the sickness?  |

We have been meaning to go down to the UROC office and talk things over. Now that the UROC season is over it will be a great time to get plans rolling. We cross paths here locally and we talk about stopping by the office. I forgot about sema. That can be as mad as a whole season of comps... |

| Re: RC Crawling at a UROC Comp! Yeah, I've had this idea for a while now. Emailed him Friday, he responded on Sat, told me to call him. I called him yesterday, he was in a meeting discussing SEMA...but still talked. I guess you can do that when you're the Pres. Wanted me to bring some crawlers to the SEMA show...they're going to have a 60,000 sq ft booth. Although I can't make SEMA our (RC Driver's) Executive Editor, Greg Vogel, will be there all week.  Pinchy and Kaetwo, Thanks! I was hoping you guys would come on board. The lack of response had me scared there for a while. Having someone that's local to the area, knows what we need, and can work with Mark will be crucial to making this thing go smoothly. As of now there are only temporary dates, the 3rd-5th of March. That's the first of the UROC Pro Rock series, and a location hasn't been determined. Anyway, that's the deal for now. It's still waaaay early, but that's what I know. I just wanted to get information out so we can get the word out and people can plan for it. I'd like to make this a yearly thing. Jason |

Or if Jason or Jason would like me to mail my truck so they can take it I am down with that. I would love to do what I can to promote the sport. As far as a comp goes at the UROC event, I am in. I will drive, fly, or walk wherever it is. Just keep me informed. |

I am not going to take my RCCrawler, if you've ever been to the SEMA show, you'd understand why. I am good friends with Mark Patey, had dinner with him, his wife, and Ranch Pratt the other night.
