Jeff... don't worry about the lens hood. My camera lies to me through the view finder almost as much as the flip out screen. In about 90% of the shots I could NOT see you or your camera....until I reviewed the footage here at home is when I can see it. It's my camera doing the tricks.

I have some footage that has weird flashes/drop outs... that's your fault due to your high voltage discharge flash

Thanks for the feedback guys.... That's what keeps me going.

We all got yelled at for being near the cameras, I was wondering how that worked when the cameras got in the way of each other .

Great job again Brett. This is going to be an awesome DVD when it's all done!

Thanks.

Jeff and I have been crossing the lens streams for a while now locally, I think we've gotten pretty good at avoiding most of the shots with either of us in them. Although it does happen from time to time. I have more shots with people(non-drivers) stepping into the view of the camera than what you'd think....enough that I can't/won't use some sweet footage due to a leg or human stepping into my view. Even with that, I think it went pretty good overall. I got lots of great shots.

Bummer. Silly question: can you crop video like you can crop stills?

Oh I forgot about the flash. Is it pretty bad? I sure hope I'm not messing up your footage...

Yes, I can crop the video if needed, but I think a lens hood is okay. The flash wasn't too bad... In most the shots where your flash went off, I had more people stepping into my field of view disrupting the video.

You guys rock,

the "media" feel added to the event this year, kept the adrenaline level a notch higher than normal.

I know a few people had the same idea I did, we wanted to put on a show.

I can't wait to see what that translates to in vid.

I can't stop watching these videos

I have to say, there is NO other R/C group more classy and put together than the RCCrawler community.

The events are amazing and the videos and memories are without a doubt the finest out there.
