Aaron, getting pumped to see these courses and the new place (just remembered I hadn't been to the new RoxBox).

Any chance we can roll in early on Friday and walk around and BS with everyone?

I think we'll be in town about 3-4.

The place will not be heated as the back door will be open. There will be pit space inside and out side under large tents. I'm sure the place will be warm-ish once we put 50+ people in there.

I hope this helps

I remember the cold from last year....I will be bringing a HEAVY coat as outdoor temps at night look to be dropping into the upper 20's or low 30's. It is easier to take layers off, or switch to a lighter coat. It is tough to get warm if you do not bring the coat/layers to begin with.

very good points

a huge help this year, is that all the course will be inside, unlike last year... but there will be pit space out side.

NOTE:

Outside pit space will be covered, have lights, and we can add sides to cut down on any wind if needed

Well open the door halfway and then hang the heavy plastic strips you see in a freezer section

Just out of curiosity....did this event "sell-out"? How many drivers are signed-up for this event? The list on the first page of this post currently has:

2.2 Comp: 16 drivers
2.2 Sportsman: 6 drivers
Judges: 8 Drivers

The EVENTBRITE site still shows quite a few tickets still available. I am not complaining....nor does it truly matter in the grand scheme of things...but I am just curious about how many drivers are set to attend.

As far as I know, it is sold out...Aaron decided to go the hard route and let people sign up without going through eventbrite. So now he has to double back to keep track of everyone. If you noticed, people mentioned that Jay (promatchrc) was coming and he is not signed up on eventbrite either...

I just hope it is capped at 50 or this is going to be an all night adventure

Ohh btw - Hey Aaron

Last year I stayed until after 10pm....then drove back to Chicago that night. I learned my lesson. This year I am doing the hotel Friday night and Saturday night. If it is more than 50 people....it will definitely run LATE.
