| RENO, 775RC “Out-Cold”, Winter Series, Round 2, November 20th Thats right Reno has a new crawling club. 775RC. Our second event of our winter series will be held November 20th at Giants Throne, Exit 28! Exit 28 motorsports and 775RC have teamed up to bring you an all NEW competition area. For those of you who are not familiar with Exit 28 Motorsports or "Giants Throne". Exit 28 has been host to the CALROCS rock crawling series, Xtreme Outlaws Desert race, the LIVFAST Motorcross track and recently the 2010 King of The Hammers stampede Desert/Rock racing event. 775RC is happy to have them come on board as a sponsor. So why are we so excited? Exit 28 park has enough rock to run courses there for the next 5 years and never drive the same course twice! We can expect some awesome competitions at this offroad play ground. Here are all the boring details: Location: Exit 28 off I-80, Giants Throne! Time: Saturday, November 20th, sign ups start at 9:00 am and end at 9:30 am. Competition starts at 10:00. Classes: 2.2 PRO, 2.2 Novice, Maxstone spec class, Rock Racing after hours if time permits, and nibble pliz! Courses: Each class runs four courses. Entry Fee: Each class is only $10.00 if you pre-register, Kids 12 and under are FREE if pre-registered, California Drivers are 50% off for their first two events! Directions: Heading East on I-80, Exit 28, Patrick Road is approximately 8 minutes past the Sparks, Vista exit. Go right on patrick, over the rail road tracks and continue right to the designated parking area. INFORMATION: Only four wheel drive vehicles are allowed up the hill. You may bring a fullsize crawler, quad, motorcycle, etc to get up the hill. Once at the top of the hill, vehicles can NOT be driven. If you need assistance getting to the top of the hill, we will have truck running back and fourth. . |
