Go to sleep, Go to sleep, Go to sleep little crawlers,
Dream of clean gates and gnarley bonus lines that make you holler!

If you are fantazing about the top of the podium and you know it's not ficticious,
Then wake yo ass up, cause your having a nightmare, the number one spot is taken by the XR-10-a-licious!

Good Luck to all the competitors tommorow!

There is no place like Pyramid Lake, Nevada; period. If you have never driven up a 80 degree incline or rolled completely over while front digging or accordian your crawler, than don't miss another comp at Pyramid Lake. The place is magical, just ask anyone who has experinced the insanity.

Round 1 of the R.E.C.O.N. Rubber-2-Rock Winter Series was held at Indian Head Beach. Drivers came from California and Northern Nevada to compete in the first of 10 events that will take place over the next 6 months. Watching competitors drive breath stopping courses was the theme for the day. All day long drivers were reminding themselves to breath as they drove MLB, (Mans Line, Bitch), lines and gasping for air as soon as the cleared gates.

The competition was intense with Mark A. from Sacremento, CA taking top honors in the 2.2 Pro Class. Scott Jackson car pooled from Cali with Mark and once the tufa dust settled, Scott landed on the podium in third. Multi factory backed driver, Parker, piloted his XR-10-alicious to second with the help of some Pyramid Lake magic.

Zack Clark brought home the R.E.C.O.N. Ranger victory, but it did not come easy with Jacob putting up a great fight.

A special thanks to Cory Hunter and Randy Howe. Cory is heading up the 1.9 class and Randy is doing the same with the Super Class. Both of these men were volunteered to bring their expertice to the rocks and give RECON drivers a full frontal assault on earning National Invites for these two classes.

Thank you judges and score keepers for your hard work. A comp could never take place without you and I appreciate your rewardless efforts.

Thank you Stuart G. for being the man you are. Your deligence and perciverence is admiralble. You are the definition of comp turmoil tolerence.

Here are the results and see everyone at rnd 2;
