My truck exploded in his trailer while he was working..... he was getting ready to tighten up his wheels when my Sub-C bomb went off!

My TCS "Stick" still performed very well with fried Sub-C's on the knuckles and a 6-cell stick pack zip-tied to the backbone. ;)

Allen was working on the TLT when CSR's batts vented in the trailer. I think Allen 'bout pissed himself.

Last time you did that you won the event! But it's never a good idea.

Exploding batteries, nice! I haven't had that happen in many years.

CSR, congrats on the 2nd place. Do you think you would have done better with your shafty instead of your stick.

Thanks Kevin! I don't know. Buford Dam was tough for both shafties and Clods. The Stick clearance helped on a lot of the climbs ('til my batteries fried and I had to strap a 6-cell pack under the chassis).

We have a comp at Bucks Pocket in a few weeks. Shafties always do well there for some reason. So the pressure's on..... gotta beat KillerTXT at his local playground.

I'll have the batteries on the knuckles with a back-up set of cells just in case..... so look out Mr. Points Series Leader!

I don't think Syco wants to do that...... I saw pictures of Fish running a 10K in Hotlanta a couple of years ago, wasn't even sweating when he got done.

Actually that was the 2006 Peachtree Road Race the worlds largest 10k. Over 75,000 entries held on July 4th. I think I placed 71,469
