I put the mashers on for the last course and still tanked it!

I'm convinced that learing to drive a dig machine by only practicing during competitions don't werk very well. You've got it nailed but I still need alot of practice.

I had yet another great time and was nice to see everyone out doing the same. Had quite a few new faces and trucks to beat up on witch is always nice I want to thank RC-Hobbies N for donating some much needed Moab XL's and moab 2.2's for the winners of each class and for Jason for making it all happen. Most of all I want to thank SLOWROCKER for drinking heavily the night before And if you did'nt see your truck in the pics it prolly wer'nt worth showing in the first place.

Thumbs up

Thanks for a great time. The pic was nice, even though I didn't think I deserved it. I couldn't even get much past the beginning without pointing out. (NEWBIE) I'm sorry for having to leave early (mech failures and a kid not feeling well) Looking forward to the next comp. I'll be more prepared.

I had a great time at the event. I think we may have set the record for most snapped axles ever in a single day! I was worried that the terrian wasn't going to be challenging enough, but it looks like it did just fine. It was really good to see all the new faces at the event!

Thank you to everybody that showed up, and a really big thanks to RC-Hobbies North for giving the great prizes to our winners. Please support them if you can, they are really excited about crawling, and are making an effort to stock the items we need.

I was only able to take a few pictures as I decide to then judge so we could run 2 courses at the same time, but I am going to try to meet up with Bill this weekend and grab all the pics he took for us.

I got some of you Troy

Thanks, I'll stop crying now and bring my camera next time. I loved the spot, good find.

You might have beat me on the last course by 2 Sparky but I did it in 3 wheel drive and in record time!

Order a set of RC4wd stainless steel clod shafts, suppose to be stronger, but we'll see. I also reworked the 2.2 with softer springs and dremeled the front axle yet again. Now I have a very tight turning radius on the 2.2

I love my Thundertech CVD's, not only are they much beefier than the stock shafts, but I found out the other day that you can totally break both ears on the inner axle tube and still keep driving just fine. To me that is a huge advantage in a comp as with any other axle it would just fall apart.

I looked at the CVD's but decided to skip them this time due to cost. I only one set of the stainless shafts from RC4WD for the front axle as it seems to take the most abuse with the extra weight. So it was only $15 plus shipping. I am also running TXT outters on my clod with Bender's 23mm adapters for the TXT so I am not sure if the CVDs are compatible with the TXT adapters.

I will try to get my pics up Wed.
I also want to say thanks to RC hobbies for donating some prizes to the winners; If I am not mistaken I think that might be a first for us. I was also blown away walking around their store and actually seeing parts that I want; hobby town sucks hairy goat leg.
