whew I almost forgot to check when the registration was and I felt compelled to check today and was able to get signed up for class 1 and 2 now I just have to decide if I want to build another new scale Land Rover for this year or do something else but I'm signed up so now I can relax and build. I look forward to seeing all you fellers again from previous years and meeting the new guys.

I haven't touched my build since then. Between being super busy at work and finding this out, it's put a bit of a damper on things for me. Will get back at it soon though. Maybe I'll ship it down for you guys to play with for the weekend

I'll PM you my address. And I will be sure to get lots of good pics for you. If it is anything like what I see as far as court schedules, I won't change your plans too much. Actual court proceedings are aways getting delayed for one reason or another. It would suck to change all your plans and then have it put off a month or even a week. Well, since you were building a truck to go, I'd total up all the receipts that you can find and submit that to the lawyers for reimbursement. At least make it worth your while.

| Yep, was really looking forward to all the new builds people were bringing this year. Everyone was really stepping up their game. Quote:
Without going into too much detail, it isn't the same as "court" court. It's usually held in a courtroom (although they sometimes will use conference rooms in other buildings) with lawyers, you get sworn in, etc., but the "judge" is typically a mediator or panel (these are for environmental appeals/hearings). They're pretty good with the dates, which is a good thing, except in this case Quote:
I doubt the lawyers would take those receipts and reimburse me, otherwise I'd buy a new car and invoice them for it (but I was buying it just to drive to Montana ). Besides which, the invoices were destroyed to keep peace in the house

I hate when life gets in the way..... Sorry you cant make it Chris. Look at the bright side, at least there is no pressure to finish the build now.

| I just noticed that to. bought my class 1 & 3 tickets and was debating class 2. I know racing more than 2 classes sucks, takes a lot of the fun out of it by adding stress.....Undecided, but it looks like I have more time to think about it.
