I'm predicting a "Shafty Smackdown" in the Super Class. The TXT's all patched up with fresh front inner axles.

I have some new top secret prototype tires for the 2.2 rig too.

I edited the first post in this thread to add the location info and directions.

Who is going to take home the series championships?

Here is the current series standings, these have been adjusted and everyone has dropped at least one event. Note: depending on how you finish at this next event the one you dropped could change.

Can JasonP and Bender hold onto their leads?

I was gonna hold off on bringing out my new rig until the summer series starts, but I think I am just gonna bring it this time.

I am doing things different than everyone else with this new rig, I think my out of the box thinking will pay off bigtime.

JasonP, you are going down!

Yea in my testing, I haven't found any tire that can hook up better than armour all soaked giant tracs!

With this new rig I could walk right up lines that were never possible with my NN chassis and moabs.

Dang it! I am staying home after looking at that!
I have been saving for the gas money but unless something else goes wrong I should be there.

Jason p that would be great if you wanted to bring your buggy up. jt was up here today for like an hour and everything went wrong. The goat was also up and had starting troubles that amazes me so I think it might have been cursed today. But sun should be a lot better

Oh and slugz stop trying to make excuses

Several of us have talked and we all agreed, we are not going to allow the 20 points max per gate rule at this event.

The last event is the first time we ever used it and for us judging it is very hard to keep track of. We are also here to see who is the best, if you can't drive through a set of gates you shouldn't be able to carry it through.

Question for skippy or anyone else who was there last time...
Am I correct in assuming that a bone stock Ford Escort will have no trouble getting there? I am looking at 'renting' my sisters car to save on gas.

I don't remember the road being that bad, the escort should be fine.

Here is my new 2.2 class crawler, I just spent all day building it. If I were Bender, I would be scared.

I test drove this today and I was able to drive right up the wall of my shop, all the way to the celing. I think it mainly performs so well do to the super high cg, and the fact that I mounted the tires backwards.

I am a little scared. Your link geometry and shock angles look perfect.
