like i said no invite was handed to me and this a personal victory for me to do that well against the caliber of courses wich took a toll on me (my knees) lol, and my rig!
and the caliber of driver's that were there on hand for all to watch!

james i need new bearings bro!
i know i know i should've replaced already (especially after two years of non-stop beating that berg has taken!

great job to parker as alway's on course design as you once again have taken the comfort zone to a new level and to devon, steve, swollen goat and sin city rc for the 4 brutally demanding and technical courses you guy's built !

a special thanks to all who drove anywhere's from 4-8 hrs to get there and the countless miles you all put on to enjoy the spirit of competition!

till the next time we meet, viocondios my good friends!

Tonapah, NV was the host town for the first ever meeting of North and South r/c crawlers to set courses at a great location that forever will be known as “Rusty Crosses”. At stake was the two Nevada State National Invites and the action was intense. Congrats to Jeremy Keyes, stubbs179 and Devin Brandt for their hard efforts that netted them invites to the 2011 RCC Nats in Las Vegas, NV.

Here are the official results;
  • Jeremy Keyes….-45
  • Devin Brandt…..78
  • Jeff Mathis……..96
  • Parker………….118
  • Cody Keyes……132
  • Jeremy Clark…..134
  • Cole Bailey…….172
  • Ryan Bandley….203
  • Steve Slavin……243
  • Jerry Clark…….266
  • Mike Walker…..296

Thank you to all the drivers, course setters, judges, and especially the Clown Motel.

If you ever pass thru Tonapah, NV, stop at the Rusty Crosses crawl spot. With it’s endless lines, insane traction, and seclusion, you are bound to have fun.

Thanks to LetsHandleIt for dinner and all the hard work that he has put into getting the Sin City R/C crawling club back up and running. Keep up the good work!

Thanks guys

Ya, I bought an XR last week and threw it together. I was tired of the lack of aftermarket support for the bully. It's on a V1 Droid chassis and it straight up works.

oh....
It sucks that Randy doesn't get the 2nd spot just because he is on team CKRC now It makes no sence to me?

I also wanted to say awesome courses to the sincityrc guys. You guys set some gnarly drive you ass of 10 gates courses. And it think each course would fit in a 15 sq ft area.

And congrats to Devon. I look forward to hanging out in Vagas.

sorry removed post trying to stay calm and out of this, really hard to do, but yes this driver was a non CKRC driver when he earned his invite and a very active RECON memeber since it began.

To everyone at the comp - I LOVE YOU GUYS! That was a blast, we dub thee - Rusty Crosses. I would never, never, never stay at the effin clown motel, WTF Steve ( I think he got a porcelain clown figurine for renting out a few rooms )

2 laps in 4 mins WTF Parker........

I love the extended bounus course and the bonus intermediate gates though - that was excellent for strategy and just plain fun.

Next time there's a matterhorn course bring Jewel to yoddle for us OK

Hope we can do it again next year, I'm brining more water, dehydration is a beeotch when your trying to concentrate

I just may try the Nats LCQ - who knows.

I'll post pics when I can find my camera.........

XOXO SG

as for all this DQ stuff... it's too bad something like this has to have politics involved - Randy you drove your ass off, it was fun to watch you go!
