I can tell you that there will not be an event in May.

Earliest possible event date is 6/11.

Just remembered that the Hobby Town demo is that weekend and a bunch of guys have stepped up for that so we cannot hold an event that weekend.

That pushes it back to 6/25.

The HT in the Springs is having their 22nd anniversary party. The owner invited us down to show off the crawlers and maybe do a little demo too.

Not sure what we'll crawl on yet. May have to import some rocks.

There is a rock pit outside the HBT in the springs. It's out by the parking lot and would provide good demonstrations. I was also thinking of having everyone bring some rocks or cinder blocks, etc, to make a small demo area just outside the door of the shop.

Default Hobby town demo

I thought there was two hobby towns in the springs.. Northside and southside. where will the event happen. Is this open to to all crawlers ? I only made it to the last two winter comps.

Dang, I will be in Buena Vista that weekend crawling carnage.

Turtlecrawler, I am assuming the north store at woodmen and academy. There is no way you could take over a portion of the parking lot at the south store and the north store has a drainage channel that looks like fun.

Swing by, the more crawlers we have the better.

Let me know if you are looking for new comp spots. I found a rock dam that would be perfect to hold a comp. All of the boulders are set in concrete and it is the size of a football field. There is pleanty of parking and I dont think anyone would bother us.
