OK, how about we all go away and do a little homework. Get yourself 2 to 5 tennis balls and cut them in half. Now find a simple little test course, doesn't need to be hardcore crawling territory but up and down kerbs / stairs / garden borders / bricks / lumps of timber or whatever and set up a series of gates where they can be varied from 18" to 30" wide on a nice tight course and see how you go. This experiment could be carried out in the matter of an afternoon. On my little play area at home I like making the gates only 2" wider than the MudCow and seeing if I can navigate thru with the independant 4WS. Really makes you work hard and concentrate on all 4 corners and also you have to plan ahead to the next gate or two cos your lines are severely limited. Much harder on difficult and slippery terrain. Let us know how you go! |
