Central MO RC Rock Crawlers’ 5th rock crawling competition will be Saturday June 24th at 10 AM at Capen Park in Columbia Missouri. There will be a Super Crawler Class and a 2.2 Class. There are no prizes other than bragging rights. We had a great turnout at the last comp and everyone had fun. As always, spectators are welcome.

To get to Capen Park in Columbia:

Exit I-70 at the HIGHWAY 63 interchange (exit number 128A).

Take Highway 63 South to the STADIUM BLVD exit.

Head West on E STADIUM BLVD [MO-740] and go about 1.5 miles

Turn Left on S ROCK QUARRY RD and go 0.2 miles

Turn Left on CAPEN PARK DR and go 0.2 miles to the parking lot.

Got the Grunt ready for battle, can't wait! I may not have a Super by then, If I do, I'll run both classes!

I've been working on a super duper top secret chassis since I'll be giving Carter my comp truck soon. It probably wont be together for this comp but should be done and tuned by the August comp. Carter has been running my truck quite a bit lately so I may let him run the course in the comp if he wants to and we have time. He's one heck of a driver for only being 29 months old. Jordan has video of Carter driving up stuff that gives me trouble.

Wish I could make it there, but we may be accelerating our closing date on both houses to the 23rd instead of the 30th (I must be a glutton for punishment!).

Take a lot of pics and tell Brian that I said good luck in Springfield. There's some KILLER crawling spots down there!

Well the CMRCRC comp was a blast today.

Took second AGAIN (congrats Eric)!

I'm going to win one of these things sooner or later (I HOPE).

Sorry to see Brian go. Good luck once again w/ the new job.

Can't wait to see the final scores. Kelly set another awesome although very L O N G course today.

I really enjoyed it!

I had a good time too. I think we should have a rotation for the judges again next time. That way everybody knows how to judge, and everybody gets a chance to just hang out and talk most of the time.

I should have judged today, but it was a haul getting by big butt up the rock as many times as I did! Next time I will take a turn!

Maybe everyone tries to judge once? Judge the guy right before your turn or something. First guy gets judged by a random. Last guy gets judged by a random.

How many rigs showed up? Also some time this fall when I get my rigs done. I try to make it up north, but there needs to be a comp down here sometime. Maybe I'll set one up later.

The length was more of an issue that the gates for me. I like the course to be challenging. Thanks Kelly!
