Thanks for putting up the pics Scattman. Its a very good area to run the crawlers, nice mixture of large and small rocks, lots of shade and usually a good breeze (important in Fla.)!

We need to organize another gtg or comp soon, hopefully all of you that missed this one will make it to the next one!

One place in particular they would not go. It was some smooth rock and they just spun. Mashers and Moabs had no problem.

Well it is official I am now the site director for the local RC club in Ocala and we are starting on the course for the crawlers this upcoming weekend. I will keep you guys informed as to the progress. This should turn out nice for us crawler folk. Every time we have a race(2 times a month) I get flooded with Q's about the tlt so we will get some good exposure from it.

Went to the pit today to try crawling on some clay.

I LIKE THE RED ROCKS USE TO HAVE MOABS LIKE SCATTMAN SAID ON SMOOTH SURFACE NOT SO GOOD BUT WHAT WE WERE ON MY PROBLEM WE WITH THE SET UP OVER ALL I WILL RUN THEM OVER THE MOABS THE BIGGER SIZE HELPS WITH MY GROUND CLEARANCE AND I THINK THEY HAVE BETTER GRIP FOR MOST OF WHAT WE CRAWL ON IN FL.

looks like scattman found a great spot, good place for the next comp/gtg. do you have an address for there I might go check it out soon (new scale 2.2 Jugg being built, looks like a good place for a maiden voyage)
I guess we'll call this place scattrock, he he he.
is it big enough to hold a comp at? if so how does 8/13 sound for everyone.
did a search for Talbot island and found only one pic of some rocks.

looks good, kinda far for some people but if we can see some crawling pics from the area I'm sure some people may be convinced to go sometime.

Those pics are actually from behind my house.(it is about 15 min. east of Hawthorne or 30 min. east of Gainesville) Might be a little far for you guys but I dont know. It is actually hard clay. And I do mean hard. It's a decent size place. Could work pretty good for a gtg or comp. The course we are working on is in Ocala, a lot closer for you guys. I will get some more pics of the pit behind my house and post them up tomorrow eve.
