| BC Crawl Day August 20th Nanaimo
Us Island boy's have a date set to invite any takers to show up and test your rigs out on a variety of courses. Should be a blast. There will be a 5 buck entrance fee, prizes will be awarded. Red Bull has also posted this event on RC Pit Stop. http://rcpitstop.com/forum1/index.ph...b&topic=2416.0 the annuel RC rock crawling event is coming up at pipers lagoon the classes are TLT (2.2 spec rules) and a clod/txt here is a brake down of the points system: At the start of every cource you have 0 points, The Max amount you can get per cource is 1000, You want to keep your points as LOW as possible... 1 tire on or over the rope = 5 points 2 tires on or over the rope = 10 points 3 tires on or over the rope = 25 points Whole truck out of bounds = 50 points Hand of god to move truck back = 75 points Repair or battery change during the cource = 100 points Hand of God to move truck forward around an obstacle = 200 points If there is a really difficult obstacle you get 3 try's at making it.. If you dont its an automatic hand of god forward. 10 minute time limit per truck on each cource. Directions to Pipers Lagoon Leaving Duke point ferry terminal take Island Highway North (19A) Follow 19A thru town til you get to Departure Bay Rd, You will pass a Midas muffler on your right side, there is one set of lights right after it, then another right away before a strip mall on your right. Take the right turn on the 2nd light. Follow Departure bay rd down past the beach on your right hand side and the first right after the beach is Hammond Bay Rd. Take that!!!! Follow Hammond bay rd a lil ways and you will see a big sign in blue on the right hand side saying Pipers Lagoon Turn right onto Lagoon rd.. Then an immediate right again onto Place Rd. Take place rd too the bottom where the parking lot is located for Pipers Lagoon.. Follow the path way on foot to the big mound of rocks.. You wont miss us!!!! To bad this is taking place during the time that I should be moving and being too close to the USRCCA event...otherwise I'd go!

"BC Crawl day is 2 weeks away... For the Mainland boys.. We are meeting at 10am at Southgate Mall Tim Hortons... when you come off the ferry at duke point take the OLD highway north into Nanaimo... You will see a small strip mall on the left with a smitty's and tim hortons.. We are meeting in that parking lot then heading to the crawl location.. hey guys am new to crawling but i have a scx10 trail ready honcho and would like to know if i could just meed u guys there insted on meeting at timmys becuse i dont have a car but i could get the bus or maybe some one can get me a ride becuse i live right beside timmys
