Default Nor-Cal R/C Rock Crawling Series Final Standings

The Nor-Cal season has concluded and the kings of the Nor-Cal rocks have been determined. The Nor-Cal series included 6 brutal stops on some of the most scenic and treacherous event sites. From the Sierra foothills all the way to the golden California coast, the natural terrain and man made courses saw the prowess of some of the best R/C crawlers out there and had guest appearances from a couple of the MTRCRC and ORCRC drivers.

We ran 3 main series:
2.2 Limited – Similar rules to RCC
2.2 Advanced – Modified rules to allow advanced modifications such as wheelbase & rear steer
Super Modified – Everything huge

The courses were designed to test ALL challenges of rock crawling. Hill climbs, drop offs, under cuts, crack lines, suspension travel, turning ability, off-camber, gap crossings, belly clearance, axle clearance, traction control, high speed, slow technical, bridge crossings, water hazards, cone dodging, and even dog toy squeaking (you had to be there). The variety was well rounded, and never ending. Although the challenges were sometimes thought to be impossible, almost every obstacle was conquered.

So without further delay, here are the final results for each class. For a complete season standings and look at the scores, download the competition Excel sheet here: Nor-Cal Event Series Excel Sheet

Congratulations to the winners and also to everyone the joined in and had a good time out there. We will see you all at the start of the next season next month.
