!************* UPDATE!!!!!*************!

We will be holding this comp in CLEMSON, SC at the dike/dam. We'll still be running 1.9 and Supers first thing in the morning starting at 9am. Courses for 2.2pro and 2.2shafty will need to be built by 10am and courses will open following a short drivers meeting

Hope everyone can make it!

The coordinates are: 34.680436,-82.855116

The closest physical address is: 1 Old Greenville Hwy Clemson, SC 29631

We will run three to four courses of at least 7 gates each for 2.2 Pro and 2.2 Shafty. The time limit will be determined during course setup. The top 5 drivers will run a finals course in 2.2 Pro...and possibly 2.2 Shafty...depending on time. We will be using the FREE CRAWL format for this comp.

We will run 1.9 if there are enough drivers interested (minimum of 3)

8:30-9:00 - 1.9 and Super Course Setup
9:00-9:45 - 1.9 and Supers ON COURSE
9:45-10:00 - 2.2 Shafty and 2.2 Pro Course Setup
10:00 - Driver's Meeting and 2.2 COURSES OPEN

Courses open immediately after drivers meeting.

Good question Sterling! Let's hear from others on this....

We had an idea to delay the start of the 2.2 portion of the comp until 10am vs. 9am. This would allow those of us with 1.9 and Super to run them and have them finished before 2.2 takes over for the remainder of the day. Everyone could still show up by 9am if they want and practice for a bit and if room permits they could begin to set up the 2.2 courses so they're ready to go at 10am. If the 1.9s and Supers finish up before 10...we'd start the 2.2 portion sooner

The other side of this is that it would allow some people that live an average of 3 or more hours from most locations to leave a little later and not be so rushed in the mornings.

Let's hear some opinions...from anyone that attends our comps!!!!

I don't have a 1.9 or a super, but that sounds like a really good idea

Thanks Travis! Yeah...and the more I thought about it the other day we typcially say we start at 9, but how many people are actually on or done with a course by 10...so I don't think it will necessarily cause us to run later.

Anyone else have an opinion?
