Default Bandit Rock racin'

like rolandrockshop i have an idea for an event that isn't happening in r/c yet, i don't think.

i call it:
Outlaw Gully racin' or
Bandit Rock racin',

wheel to wheel racing.

course would be kinda like a short track event only much rougher using a format that they use in sprint car racing, ie;
heat, semis, trophy dash, LCQ. main...
depending on length of course, 1 lap for heats etc. 2 laps for main.

you could build a permanent course or go out in the desert to a gully and flat land and set it up with survey pin flags and flour marking.
simple easy, slightly time consuming.
that's what i like, kinda "flash mob" style.

you would have a co-driver to help in righting or unsticking rigs.

new twist.

if you go over or get stuck, when you get righted you have to go back to the last "reset" line that would be placed around the course.
that's the penalty for going on your lid, put a little more driver ability into it that just pin it and flip it....

try to keep it simple, 2.2 rigs, "run what ya brung", at least until there is need for chnages or additions.
maybe even have a 1 design class like in sailing, using only wraith's (just and idea)....
dunno....

what say yee ??............

a work in progress..

sorry.....

being new to this sport & site, i didn't do my due dilligence on this subject.

it appears the event is going on and quite popular in certain areas.
it's called U4RC and it looks pretty neat.....

if anyone knows of this type of event happening in arizona please let me know.
otherwise, i might have to start one.....???

Talk to Bmuzz when you see him next, or big daddy, both have plans for a track/race up there. Hopefully I will down here as well.
