What a great day, gentleman. It was great seeing old friends and new faces. Looking forward to the next one. Hope everyone made it home safe. Had a blast (as usual). Thanks Harvo, Pdog, Torched, Sinister (as well as names I forgot) for all the setup and making the day run so great. Just realized, all the screen names sound like Prisoner or Rapper names. |

Yes.... Great day Denton. Comp ran very well and I heard several fellas say how much fun they had had today. Weather was perfect and the rock were grippy. Now just for a few less leaves and it would have been perfect... Lol

Made it home safe. Had a blast today. Great weather, great location, great friends to crawl with, how could it get any better? Thank you guys for putting up with me and letting me horn in on your comp. You'll never know how much it means to me. Thanks to Harvo and helpers for all you guys do, we all appreciate your efforts. It does not go unnoticed. Special thanks to Barry at Triple C for the raffle prizes. It all made the trip home a breeze. Hope to get to the next one.

Had a blast today guys. I've never met a group of like minded people that were more open and helpful than you guys. Barry I'll be in touch about a chassis and trans, maybe some wheels. And thanks guys for not treating me like a total comp newb. I learned a lot about what I need to do to have a competitive setup.

Well let me just say that this week has been a tough week personally and that my mind was not totally on crawling. With that said I knew that coming and hanging out with everyone was just the break/therapy if you will that I needed. Any way always a blast and cant wait for the next one. Big Thanks to Barry at ClassiCut for the giveaways. |

All Right... Let me tell you about the comp. First off, I cannot say enough how much I appreciate the guys that build the courses, do tech, take the money, donate the raffle prizes and help clean up. Chad...my brother... NOBODY builds a scale course like you. That was tough. You were missed. All you guys that normally come and had to skip were missed! Next, we had a bunch of new faces at the comp. We are glad you all came and we hope you keep coming. For the trucks you guys were running, it will only get better as we learn how to make the courses better and more fun, and there will be more of them at each comp. Our long 40 gate course was about the normal, but the rock comp course was new to me, so as I learn what all the trucks will do, I should be able to equalize things. Classic Cut Customs donated a boat load of prizes. Thank you Barry!! We had 6 winners yesterday and more prizes for the next comp. I think Northshore was the best I have ever seen it. It was dry, sunny and felt great. A big thanks goes to Torched and Sinister for scoping it out Friday! We ran into a guy toting wheel barrows full of mulch and we thanked him for keeping the place up. He said he was glad we could use the place. I think Randy and I finally figured out a way to make the long scale course scorable with out scorekeeping. I'll explain it in a different thread in the TN section. Congrats to all the top finishers. We had several new names to the top 5 of all the classes I'll get scores up this evening. |
