Had a GTG under the bridge in orting today and there was talk of using that spot in the event of 30* weather, rain and high winds for next Sundays comp. Comp is still scheduled for Mukiltio but wanted to throw a heads up out there that there may be a change at the last minute. If so It will be posted here and the home site sometime Saturday Stay tuned Devlin |

| The news is predicting better weather for this Sundays comp. Looks like clear skies and a balmy 38degrees. However the morning looks to be in the mid 20's. As long as we don't have the winds like today all should be good. |

The bridge will keep us out of the rain, but as we found out, it offers no protection from the cold, and seems to make the wind seem worse. Hopefully we just get a clear and cold day with no "liquid sunshine".

Props to Chad and Devlin for great performances, and thanks to all for a great time. Scores show a couple of really great runs, I really wish I could have watched more, and spent less time fixin' my rigs.

Those were some awsome coarses, never thought I would be crawling rocks in the snow...not on this side of the mountains at least. Devlin |

It was an OK time for my first comp, I was kinda hoping for more courses though. Breaking my rear servo the day before was totally gay, makes it hard to run courses when I am so reliant on rear steer.

comps generally only have 2 coarses sometimes 3, there just isnt enough time in the winter with the size of our group to do any more. That and we are following the nats guidelines since a few of us in the group are dead serious in our attempts to gain an invitation to the nats Post up a GTG and we will come join in the fun,run as many coarses as we can. Ditto. You missed the bashing after comp. We usually stick around for quite awhile after comp to crawl some more. Thats where the real fun starts. M |

Yeah it was ok, I pretty much wasn't taking it serious from the start due to the lack of rear steer and competitiveness due to not having rear steer. And as some of you saw, on my last course I did a pretty good job of completely destroying my chassis due to lack of patience and excessive throttle. I'll be back, where's the next comp?

thanks, I was thinking of going away from the 1/2" and trying 3/4", and then if I am lacking flexability I will then drill holes in it. The 3/4 should hold up better. If not then I will find a mclendons. The problem with my chassis is that I tig'd my axle locator bracket's to the channel and that annealed the aluminum (softened it) and caused the chassis to bend. I may try to just not weld on the chasses portion. thank's anyway's
