I know what you mean. That C1 course 3 DNF killed me in class 1. If only I had a little more time. But I know how difficult it can be to set up courses. With the exception of a very few gates in the class 1 courses they did an excellent job at course building. It was also nice to have the courses laid out in such a way that they didn't get destroyed throughout the day from everyone running on them.

I will bring the syrup to ecsc in aug. LoL. But ya its hard to make a course to please everyone course 3 in c1 was a tuff one but it did have people complete it even on a 3.7" tire so it Was doable . And in ttc the rubicon was damn insane and I loved every second of it. I thrashed my rig and lost rear steer but il be back in full form for ecsc. I just can't wait to see sled pull video's

It was a great time and it was great to see old friends and make some new ones. The courses where tough for sure and the C1 course 3 seemed to give a good bit of the guys a fit but we did have a few guys finish it and one of them was running some of the smallest tires in the field. I'm really looking forward to ECSC this year , it's gonna be a blast. And yeah Matt the TTC was a frigging hoot.

The courses were awesome The class 1 course 3 was tough . I was the first one to finish it. Then a few guys finished it after me. It was a really tough course. As it should be. It was a top event. Im a little curious to see the course scores and results. I didn't make the top 3 in Class 1 even with finishing the tough course.

Understand but with the varying levels of drivers, it is sometimes hard to gauge the difficulty without prerunning.
My philosophy in situations like this is "if one person completed the course, it was a difficult but doable one"
Now I say that without seeing the course but it sounds like a third of the drivers did finish.

Is it August yet????

Yes. Please. Take it easy!! We want you out to events and everything else in the future. Health and family comes first....with tiny trucks a very close second. Very close.

There were 4 drivers that finished. I asked.

4 out of what 30? or 32?

Well I say let the points tally up, and let good clean driving make the scores what they are. Thats 26 or 28 trucks that got a DNF on course 3, and thats never fun.

Aside from that ONE course I thought it was VERY well run, and Panda and I had a great time. Hope to see you in Pa- And to get my shot of Canadian syrup!

L.R.

edit: also, I figured it would be better for the "out of towner" to do the complaining instead of the local guys.

It's cause those guys don't complain. It's what they run on all the time. Welcome to Canada , we have rocks. Lol j/k man. It was good to see you run those uber scale rigs and push them to the limits. Best get them ready for Pa cause if you thought we had rocks..... Lol
But in all seriousness it was cool to have you up for the event and see you guys have a good time.

In OK, 95% of the 16 or 17 drivers DNF'd all 3 courses... :/

I don't need to finish a course to have fun... It was all equal... We all had the same course it comes down to rig set up and driver ability

Thanks to socrawl and John and his crew and sponsors for the great 2 days and great prizes.. My only disappointment was the sponsors that did not show up... I showed up with a pocket full of cash hoping to by stuff I don't need...

I found course 3 to be hard but it could be done. I timed out on it with front wheel off the rim. But up till then i had no probs. But it was in no way a Class 1 course..

Did you get pics with the tire off the rim? that should be +5 scale points!

Question....did you have fun?

If they made all the courses a cakewalk, I wouldn't have fun! I have winch and "pull tool" ready for PA!

I was scoring SirChirp while his tire came out on course 2. It just kept pulling and pulling, but had a hard time turning right. It would be a hoot to get a bonus for the most dismembered truck that keeps going through!
I scored a couple guys who lost a drive shaft or cvd also, and they just wheeled harder!
