We talked about taking a break in Jan/Feb, starting up in late Feb. or early March. Any thoughts????

Late Feb. Early March sounds good. It will give me time to dial in my super and 2.2 and get some practice so I dont make a fool of myself.

i feel late feb but has anyone found out how the people follow points for the national event. Do they follow points over a period of time or by who is a points leader in trhe area.Myself am glad for the break for overhaul time, and time to recoup myself

Well #17 was our first, but we could wait another month or so. I have a lot of overhaul to do to get Alex' 2.2 more stable on the rocks, and I want to get my super finished and run it in this years series.

I would vote February, that should be enough time, and Alex and I are eager to get back out on the rocks.

Slightly off-topic question:

I have an older daughter that is interested in driving too. I don't have the funds for another rig, so is it legal for her to drive the same rig as Alex in comps?

hey xaruum i have a spare 2.2 and a spare unlimited. If you pm or e-mail me a couple of days ahead, i'll bring a spare along

heu guys, mi building my clod based crawler now, would love to get involved with this. what does p.a.r.c stand for? is this poll on the start of the '07 comps?

It stands for Phoenix Area Rock Crawlers. And yes, this is for the start of the 2007 season. Cant wait to get out there and put names to faces.

It looks like Feb. 25th is a weekend off so that works for me. With the Comps setup every three weeks it won't ever fit my weekends off. I'll try to make ever one that I can. I'm building a new 2.2 and it should be done by the end of Feb.

Well not this weekend, I need some time to get ready. What about next Sunday the 21st? On South Mountain?

Sounds good to me. I'll bring my mess of a 2.2 out and see if I can make it steer, damn servo decided it didnt want to center itself anymore...

And I can get some touge runs in

Sooner for me too!!! Remember we need to be done with this series before invites for Nats. I thought we'd decided to start the season Feb. 4th.

I'm moving to AZ from CA at the end of March. If I miss the first or maybe second comp., can I still compete in the remaining comps.? It'd be just for fun obviously since points wise I'd be way behind.

Feb 4th won't work for me. Feb 11th or feb 25th would be better.
Jan 28th would be ok with me. Lets all speakup and set a firm date.

Yes you can compete, and we welcome you to AZ. Who knows you could
still be in the running missing one or two comps.

These dates are the best to go by since Rick is about the only one with a work schedule that really effects his ability to come to the events.

So we have these dates to decide on:

Jan 28th
Feb 11th
Feb 25th
