Here are the results from the Nor-Cal 2006 Fall competition series:




Score sheet updated. See posts 14 & 15 for reasoning. Congrats to Daniel on the 2.2 class win.

Like in all our past series, when we tally up the points, you are given your position (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc). From there, you get season points. First place gets 100, second 95, and so on. If there is a tie for that event, they share the same points, so 2 people getting second place both get 95 points. There is a little more to it, but it answers your question.

Can you believe it. We had several ties this season.

Congrats to Dean & Daniel on their shared 1st place victory
Jared and Dustin shared 3rd place and Brandon took home 5th.

I tied with John, but I only had to show up for 2 events and one of those was with my scaler. Neener neener neener. I want a showdown buddy!

Should we have a shootout of some time to determine the final champion? Maybe a one time shut up and run for the series. We can leave it the way it is with dual champs or settle it.

I'm glad you didn't compete in more of the 2.2 class events, I would have had to bring my game (like I had any this season). Besides, judging Vadger Alley ruined me for the season, you notice how I didn't even make it past two gates at that event?

It's ok John. I have no game anymore myself. I brought everything I had at So-Cal and it landed me in last place for Nor-Cal. I wish you were there though. It's tough not having someone to finish ahead of

Sam at the waterfalls comp Daniel took 1st because he finished the last coure with a negative 1 and he was the only 1 to complete all the courses but you have him mark as if he got 3rd the way your saying on the points

Yup Richard, you are correct. There were 2 sets of score sheets. 1 set was in the other box. The first didn't have any location information and appeared to be the correct event, but it wasn't. That one was Indian rock so it was scored twice.

So congratulations to Daniel for taking first place in the Fall series. No shoot out is required Dustin moves into 2nd place with Dean trailing just behind him in 3rd. Unfortunately John stepped over me in scores like I wasn't even competing.... oh wait, I wasn't Good job John. We will be battling for it again this season, so I can't wait.
