I imagine they count as 1 item total but we'll let thommy or Cody chime in.

PLEASE READ !!

Saturday morning
Starting Times "TBA"
one course for all classes
Poker run 1.9 / 2.2
& KOD 1.9 / 2.2

a timed limited G6 style run - on a marked course with 4 check points along the course.
check points are where you must draw (with out looking) ONLY one numbered chip - per check point.
~
follow the course & find the check points until
you have 4 different color chips with #'s on them,
these #'s will equal your total for poker/KOD run.
continue to the poker/KOD run finish line - hand in your score envelope with the chips in it - receive your run time.
ties will be broken down by best finishing time.
~
a timed limited - poker/KOD run - after the time limit (TBA) - you will time out - no time given.
the course will be set up so contestants will be able to finish the course well within the time limit !
we don't want anyone timing out !

start - Land rush style start - all start at the same time - on the same clock.
2.2 up front - 1.9 to rear.
course marked with "YELLOW" arrows - flags - tape & markers to fallow & go thru,
check point cans - Yellow - Blue - Red & White (same color as the chips)

no - on course penalties - but,
try your best to drive it out - if you get in trouble - or help some out - if you see them in a fix !

this being a random chip draw - for a chip # value total,
"could be a high chip # total - in the middle chip # total - or - a low chip # total - no one will know until the end"
this event is open to anyone to win !!
best you can do - is - just have a lucky chip # draw / time & have fun !!
FUN is what this poker event is all about, having good RC fun with friends,
no real pressure in this event - a good way to start the day !

this years poker/KOD course - we will be building more it challenging !!
Bridges - Log crossings & shallow water crossings.
surface will vary from dirt to rocky woods trails,
to all rock trails with some technical areas,
& some shallow water / mud crossings - (water resistant - a good idea).
Poker/KOD run starting line yet to be determined.

drivers start - 15 seconds apart

this is a true to scale "king of the hammers" style event.
it will test not only your rig - but the drivers all so !!
its a simple event - fastest on coures time - wins the KOD !!

ONLY SERIOUS ENTRIES PLEASE

KOD drivers will run on/use the same course as the Poker run drivers do.
if you enter/run the KOD your in the poker run event
for that class your running in KOD,
you must draw all your chips during your KOD run anyway !
so you do both KOD/poker run on the same course at the same time !

Once you enter the Hogans Offroad camp ground/park just inside the gate there is a trailer house. That is where we checked in last year and assume it will be the same this year. I am sure Mr. Greer will chime in shortly with the specifics. I can post an address and pin drop if needed.

You'll go across the Pensacola damn, and immediately after you get off the bridge, turn right. It's a sharp right turn down a gravel road. Just a short ways down is pathway on the left, turn down that to get to hogans. I don't know if that's where checking is, but that's how you get to hogans.

Like Doug Said. It's a mobile trailer just after you enter the park. Find a place to park and you should see a bunch of trucks and tables and such.

It was a little intimidating last year when I went for the first time but we found it no problem.

Now the actual comp locations are a whole mother story. It depends one which locks are open or closed for the dam. I'm know Thommy and Cody have a plan already.

Yes everything will be based at the the tralor house just like last year and years before. We will post signs at the turn for Hogans. When you pull into Hogans the main hub will be obvious, we will have the banners and podium setup and the vender booths will be setup around that area as well
