went to ogden today , the weather wasnt bad a slight rain/drizzle . still plenty of traction , also got some course designs in mind as well as 2 side by side courses that could be run both ways were technical and speedy . we explored the whole hillside. lots of rock (close to lil moab in variety). cant wait to go back. |

Wayne...that was a great comp today. I had a great time! A little warm so if you could do something about that next time we would all appreciate it 8-) I did however realize what a slacker I am with the camera after I got home...only got pics of 3 of the 8 rigs that were there today. Not intentional, just turned out that way. Here are a couple of them...with an extra 1:6 surprise at the end for Courtney: And this one's just for you Courtney (knew you were disappointed that they didnt show today so here you go--it's even Seths): Again, I apologize for not getting pics of all the rigs. I'll work on that next time. Or someone besides just me can show up with a camera and can pick up my slack . Wayne...we are all anxiously awaiting the final results! Okay...not all of us, but those guys the actually did well are. The important thing is I had fun anyway. Thanks again! |

This was a great comp . Thanks to all who came out it was a blast . We woulda had some great footage but some shmuck forgot the camera (me). cant forget Kelly's kamakazi run of the top of the course ( 10-15 foot fall) that was intense. The wheely king that showed to school the TLT's and all the insane driving action by all the competitors. fun is what its all about. see yall at the next comp. WOW! Kelly schooled us all! Good job. My own son beat me...his first time driving my rig in a comp and he beats me. Impressive. Looks like I need to do some more practicing. Thanks again Wayne and to all those who came out. It was a really fun day (despite my score). |

| pre-comp prep (side by side) officially
Went to Kiwanis today and did some testing . got a great side by side course planned out with by-passes on each side (that are longer to prevent faster runs). there is plenty of dirt between the rocks and some dirt hiil-climbs so bring yur pinion selection cuz higher gearing may be required, we will be doing both courses foward and backward. thats 4 runs per driver. We will be bringin a BBQ'er so if ya wanna cook somthin bring it. Theres a nice pavilian to eat in and plenty of shade. |
