the 24th street site. Maybe we should start the Comps sooner as the temps go up. Just a thought Rick

| That's not a bad idea. I changed the start time to 8am. We'll allow people to come and start as late as 8:30am though.

I live in the Phoenix area and would like to come out to the event on the Sunday. Can you give me the address or directions to the 24th Street site? Thanks

http://www.thecrawlerstore.com/events.html Also, what do you guys think about expanding the club? This mostly means putting flyer's out at local hobby shops to get more people involved. Or do you guys prefer to keep the club as is?

I think we need to grow more and get more people envolved and start getting some interest in all the valley has to offer, maybe even some national interest for winter events. I've seen the flyer for the comp at Donner in Cali. and would be cool to have something like that around here.

I agree, spreading the word is the easy part, how to handle the masses is a whole different thing. Also, I think bktoys has a point: maybe we should consider separate East/West comps with semi-annual all-inclusive rage-in-the-cage matches. I just think potential drivers are put off by having to drive across town. I live just down the street from the ADOT basin that the azwingnutz and azrcfreaks are trying to get sanctioned as an RCpark, it takes from 30min to an hour to get to most of the comps. |

The problem we currently have is that too many of us are old schoolers that have been doing this for too long, myself included. I ran the comps alone for at least a year back in 2004 and maybe part of 2005. I'm no longer in any state of mind to run the club anymore. What we are really lacking is someone to take charge and make sure everything is going smooth. I'm still willing to help, and have tons of suggestions on how to improve things. But I'm too busy these days to be focused on running the club. |

AWESOME comp today !!!!! It got a little hot at the end but we finished in record time. Enough chit chat, here's the way the Supers finished today... 1st Bob 18/5/-2=21 2nd Carey 31/0/9=40 3rd Robert 41/-4/6=43 4th Mike 37/6/6=49 5th Rick 38/-1/13=50 6th Jay 43/7/4=54 7th Dave 40/17/-2=55 Way to go Bob !! You got us all on that evil stage 1. I'm pretty happy with 4th considering the chassis failure on stage 1. |

| Two ways to look at it...
The first way... I came in LAST! The 2nd way.... When I started competing this year I told myself if I could even get CLOSE to Jay, that would be more than I could ask for.... Well, Jay, I was only one point behind ya!!! |
