i am going for sure. my mom has a friend that lives 10 miles away that she can visit until the comp is over. the half of one of the loops that screws go through on the servo that broke off i super glued back on and it holds together well. i am going to be there and competing with my rig for the first time.

I first thought you meant drive your 1:1 here to the comp, and you were scared of her driving. I thought that comment, if she was reading it? would of got your assed kicked by her Either way, she'll probably kick all our asses

Thanks to all who were able to make it today, and thanks to all who helped out scoring, timming, setting up stages, etc.
Results and hopefully a few pic's will be posted shortly in a new results/pic's thread.

oh yahhhhhh my first stage run was something to be desired but man i really improved in my second stage what was i thinking move the battery to where i had put it deee ti deee I'm going to leave well enough alone now and work on cog and maybe different battery to run possibly more weight not sure ......i might run out to taylor's this week or weekend and do some practicing on my crawling skills .................rikki it was a luck sweetheart you can't beat us next time lol i got beat by a girl but it's not official yet lol ........wow we had some fresh people out there today manit's nice to see new people interested in what we do and alot of people asking how it all works so thats good word of mouth and i believe 1 guy that that actually runs 1:1 was going right home to jump on interweb and spend some $$$ on a truck to come run with us because they cant ever find places to run the 1:1's and are's are cheaper to maintain lol ......well hope to see that guy soon competing with us to everyone that was there wow some real good runs guys i hope i get better at it but till next time see yaaa .,.,.,.,.,,

I am uploading pics now, and I ordered up some 1/4 scale servos for the Jugg, metal gear this time. I am tired up the standard size servos, even the 5995 just doesn't cut it for me, I'll toss that weak servo on the gopher I guess.... I also put a stiffer spring in my dig setup on the jugg, doesn't feel like it will slip now... The gears were just fine.

So the Jugg will be getting a full on rebuild before the next comp, new axle mounts and aluminum knuckles in the back.

Doh!

I ran most of the second course with my steering like that.... And my rear axle wasn't pushing the truck much at all.
