Great times!! Many thanks to all the people that help out so much, and thanks for all the people who show and make it such a great time! Man what a comp! Anyone that did not show really missed out, we are really pushing the bar on what these crawlers can do! And a real big congrats to Griz!! And a big thanks also. And thanks to Jason for some driving lessons, I need to drive with you more often. Did I say thanks? |

| WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!! Top spot finally. Thanks to everyone for a fantastic day. Peanut came to the comp with his (cow)bells on today and really worked great. I was glad to get a chance to show that the SW2 can still hold it's own. I gotta thank Hobbytown for the gift certificate, a big thanks to Holmes Hobbies and The Crawlerstore for their help, and a many thanks to Bender for all his advice. I couldn't have done it without you bud. Thank you to all the guys who helped run the event while I slacked off, great job on the courses and the judging. I'm still in awe that I made that ledge on course 2....twice. I did it again while RacerX and Skippy were there just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Losi Claws ROCK!! Congrats to My ride and Grizz and the other top 5 finishers, definately some sick driving today! Can't wait to do it again..... this week! |

Great day of crawlin thanks to hobbytown for the gift certificate, one of these days I may even get down there to use 'em. It's too bad that fred guy wasn't there to witness the landslide in the super class. Good tough courses all around, got out of there just in time for the monsoon to hit too. Fun drive down academy blvd though. |

Fun drive down academy blvd though. [/quote] That was crazy! Going down the road at 40 mph with water shooting off the tires 25 ft on both sides wipers on warp speed and still not even seeing the road ahead of us! |

After I left you guys, I went up to 14,110 feet and enjoyed the lightening up there. I tried my best to get struck but the gods were not cooperating. |

There were a few random Guard Rails.. Wife and I went up Sat for the first time too. That is a sweet drive. I would love to watch the hill climb races there next year.

Like to say thanks to all the people that made some great times this weekend I had so much fun frying the skin off my body the whole day! Oh, and the crawling was good too. Great courses, and traction was sticky all day. Thanks to Hobbytown lakewood for $10 in hobbybucks. That's so cool you guys hand these out to the winners the whole series. Slowrocker, RacerX, and skippy had the BEST desiel/offshore boat skimming the wake all the way down Acadamy Blvd. The rooster tails on both sides where a site to see. He was hugging the gutter lane all the way to I-25 looking for the biggest pond to empty onto little cars like my Honda. |

Yea, I agree, the ponds in the middle of the road were awesome. I think I drove about 5 minutes blind from all the water being thrown from the vehicles.

Thank you all for the props, what a great day. I'm still smiling. You were missed Brad, prolly lucky for me you were gone though. I have not seen flooding like that since I lived in Houston. I was wishing I had big blue while crossing the Academy Straight. Lets get some practice in and bring home some hardware (and loads of toys) from Nationals. |
