Hopefully I'll have my rig together by the time of the comp. I won't have much time behind the wheel though. :-( I'm down with helping out any way I can. Warning: I am possbly the worlds worst photographer! I once exposed the same roll of film on 3 seperate vacations. Sounds like this will be a great event, I'm looking forward to it. Steve |

How is it going to be state championship since there aren't any members from us running the 2.2 unlimted class? Is their anyone? I'd rather see a scaler class then that class? That class has been outdated for several years.with the new rules in effect.

Are you coming to the States? If no one runs unlimited then it won't be part of the championship. I have a 2.2 clod that I may just run for the fun of it. 2.2 and Super are a definite...

however if you want to have a good time competing against other trucks then you are more than welcome to come compete. Scale trucks arent designed for comps, they are more looks than performance. on that note however we do plan to have a "scale comp" in the future however it will be very much different than a typical rc crawler comp.

As far as a scale comp I think the way Scale4x4 does it is the way to go. makes it more like a competition trail ride Sods, put me down for 2.2 and a scaler. My old metal truck should be revamped by this weekend

Oh yeah, the trash talking is starting. The State Championships are a chance for our two clubs to get together and have a great time. Bring your 2.2, your super, your 2.2 Unlimited, your scaler, your hydrocolonic vehicle or your wife...I will run with them all... Kodiakman, This is all about the gtg not analyzing what another club does. I bet every club does things just a little different. In the end, it is about getting together and sharing something that we all love to do. RocJoc, Sounds like you are a little scared of the wrath of W.Pa.C., wanting us to stay home...are you getting nervous??? Guys...let's have fun and in the end some people may be walking home with some nice things and of course, PA Bragging Rights for one year!!! |

allrighty guys, lets all throttle back a little. we run the 2.2 unlimited because we have enough intrest in it on our end, so we're gonna run the class as we did in our points series. your all welcome to bring/modify your rig and run in the calss if you want. really all you'd have to do would be to throw a servo on the rear and you'd be good to go, or if your a little more adventurous bring an extra set of longer links, throw those on as well and extend your wb. now w/ that being said lets all get together and have some fun |
