| Crawlerado Scale Series 3 Make-up - This Saturday.
Event 3 April 5th - SATURDAY Location : Daniels Park off of Castle Pines Parkway just South Of Denver. From Denver, Take I25 South to Castle Pines Parkway and head West about 2-3 miles... Tada! Daniels Park. Buddy System Gated, Time Trial, Hill Climb and a Trail run afterwards 2.2 Scale Rigs will run 1st 2.2 Tubed Rigs will run 2nd 1.9 Scale Rigs will run 3rd 1.9 Tubed Rigs will run 4th There will be 3 different types of courses ran during the series: Gated Hill Climb Time Trial Sign in/scale scoring/tech inspect will be from 9-10. If a vehicle falls out of tech or a class, the group as a whole will decide weather or not a rig will be allowed to run. 2008 Crawlerado Scale Series If you would like to help scout out and set up a gated course i will be there shortly after 8am. This is colorado, so watch the weather reports... moderate snow would mean a no go. Granted our rigs can do it but most of us are old and or have a lack of balance. Just dont want anyone of us to get hurt.. myself included. At this past weekends Bunny Bash At Finish Line RC we had the discussion that none of us understood why the comps were always held on Sundays... in the past it was to accomidate those that had to work on Saturdays.. but after talking with a majority of the Scalers, Saturday seems that it may actually work out better for most of the guys so we will try this out and if all goes well, we will change the rest to Saturday Comps... |

Saturday works for me. A Saturday afternoon event ending up with a trail run in the dark would be cool.

Not sure if I can make this one, the end of this week and this weekend is E-Days here at Mines, which means 3.5 days of partying and cool events, especially on Saturday.

If I put a Bushwacker body on my 2.2 comp rig......does that make it a scale 2.2 rig that I can compete with?

That was not a body covering a comp rig. It may perform well, but it is no comp rig. Chassis is based off of the X-trail, and stock Axial chassis. Looking forward to Saturday, should be a great time as always! |

the frame has to extend over the axles and the flex cannot go past what is set for that class. rules -> 2008 Crawlerado Scale Series but keep in mind that it is up to the masses if you can run if the rig falls out of spec. (we havent turned anyone away yet) Last edited by TwistedXT; 04-02-2008 at 07:48 AM. |
