That is the LAMEST things I have ever heard to be honest with you. Not from you of course, but from the land management people. State decision makers sitting behind their desk assuming one thing when it is completely different is the biggest example of laziness and disregard for what their job really is which is serving the public in a positive way. Anyone can just say "no". We need people in power that can figure ways to say "yes". That's where brain power comes into play. I will get back you guys briefly on the new location. We will see if there is another spot in Arnold that isn't on "public" land. "Public". What a f-ing crock of feces. -Sam | |

a similar thing lik that happened to us once, DLNR Dept. of land and natural Resources Came and said the same thing, fawkers pulled up like the feds. they were cool though, they just turned the other way. they said somthing about some kind of statute that were meant mainly for gas powered vehicles, but i guess our electric crawlers fall under that category aswell. i think it has somthing to do with the fact that we were on state land but next to federal water. fawk i dont know. whatever, but that sucks for you guys.

Has anyone ever contacted any ORV parks? There's one over towards Sac (Praire City I think? The same place they hold the HangTown MX race) and it now has an r/c offroad track (along with motorcycles, places for wheelin', a kart track, dirt oval for mini sprints, etc ... Since they are open to a offroad track and r/c crawling fits the overall theme of the place, maybe they would go for it? Maybe something could be done on a more permanent basis? Just a thought, Jake |
