When: Sunday September 7, 2008
Time: Sign ups at 10:00 Running starts at 10:30 Sharp
Place: Burr Pond State Park, Torrington CT
Classes: 2.2 followed by a trail run
Fee: $5 Entry fee

There will be a trail run after the comp so please bring your trail/scale vehicles. Please no nitros or alcohol.

For the trail run here is what we will be doing:
-2.2 class rules
-Vehicle must look scale
-no comp chassis
-people will run in pairs
-all penalties count, but can be correced without penalty by using tow straps or a winch
-there will be a time limit

Directions:
Off Route 8 North: Exit 46 . At end of the ramp, take a left onto Pinewoods Road. At the first stop sign go left onto Winsted Road. Follow Winsted Road for approximately 1 mile and take a right at the blinking yellow light (turn is marked with a park sign). The park is 1 mile on the left.

It costs $7 to enter the park if you live in CT. If your out of state it costs $10

Due to some pretty bad weather for late in the day on Saturday, this event will be postponed and rescheduled. The weather forecast is calling for over 4-inches of rain and for some rain on Sunday. Sorry, guys. Even if Sunday turns out to be fairly sunny, this location will be a wet, muddy mess.
