Default Simple Single Battery Mod

I have seen people asking how to run a single battery for the Cliff Climber. I myself was also looking for the solution at one time. So I did a very simple mod of stuff I keep on hand and thought I would post it up just in case it might help someone else out. The 1st thing I did when I got my CC was install Traxxas connectors just to match all my other electronics that I run. Mainly for ease and for the fact that I like the connectors. I think they are just as good as Deans and easier for my fat fingers to grip. Anyway, I install male ends on my electronics and females on my batts. which is pretty much the norm. So with that, you will run your batteries off the 2 wires (one black, one red) labeled b2+ and b2-. The ones you will jumper are the b1+ and b1-.

All I did was take a small piece of wire and solder each end to a tab and insert into a female Traxxas plug, basically making a loop.
Take the male plug on the b1 wires

And plug in the jumper you made.

Simple, done deal. There are other easy ways to do this, this is just the one I did for ease for myself. If and when I want to run 2 batteries, all I have to do is unplug the jumper and plug in a battery. This can be done just as easily with Deans if you wish. Like I said, I use Traxxas connectors and usually always have a set laying around. Took em and tucked them under the electronics in the now wide open battery tray to keep it neat.

Great Post and Picks!! I like the fact that you can reverse the jump just by simply unplugging the loop.

It looks like a series jumper to bypass a battery to improve weight.

This is the first dual motor RC that i have owned. Is there a reason you couldn't just wire both sets of battary connectors together so you can run only one battery? I was just wondering
