| Suspension and A Motor Terminal Question
Just received a CC I had ordered. In the box there is a plastic bag with four(4) black plastic round cups or spacers with one clit on the outer edge. No stock number on bag or mention of these in the instruction manual. What could they be? Also, as I was installing the O-ring in the knuckles I noticed with each motor the red terminal is being pushed on by one of the suspension arms. Not having any experience with electric motors, my question is, can I apply slight pressure to the terminal post and bend it away from the suspension arm? I have already purchased the all-thread rod, aluminum tubing, and Traxxas rod ends to change out the plastic suspension parts for metal and as it is now there is not enough clearance between the motor terminal and the soon-to-be aluminum suspension arms. Any help with these two things, THANKS I also noticed that as I was removing the rear right knuckle to do the O-ring install, a small thin black O-ring fell out of the knuckle as I removed the drive shaft. The other three knuckles did not have this small O-ring, Maybe Duratrax is reading the post on here and starting to do a little R&D on this issue. By the way, it was all the great comments and suggestions that have come from the members here that made my decision easy in buying the CC. Last edited by FlatwaterMG; 01-23-2009 at 01:03 AM. Reason: Duratrax just let me know the round spacers are for aftermarket servos |

Like any other potmetal..You only get 1 or 2 bends out of them, then.....Snap! So use the bend wisely. |
