| Independant Steering Control
I would like to have independent control of my front and rear steering. What kind of electronics do I need to get to make this happen?

You need a 3 channel radio. Cheapest option is to modify a traxxas tq3 controller. Check the stickies at the top of the electronic section for more info.

May be he wants proportional independent steering... not just "mirror/crab walk" style ;) If i can get you right, you would want a 2 stick radio (4 channels at least) which will give you 2 independent steering sticks + 2 independent throttle sticks!!! I have those plans for mine. http://holmeshobbies.com/product.php...8&cat=6&page=1 < that's what i mean. But the bad thing is that John Holmes doesn't have them in stock :S Not just any 4channel radio would work tho. First of all u want it to be for "ground freq"(the aerial r/cs are on a different frequency?). Second - you want the left stick to have a spring that centers it, the aerial ones don't have one, and they stay in the position you leave them. |
