Ok so my C.C. build is kinda following yours, I plan on using the puller 454 motors. What I want to know is, what pinnions do you suggest for the front and rear axels ? some guys on here are mixin' 'em up others are matched what do you think works best with your motors ? mixed or matched ? and what tooth count ? next wheel size, roll out dia. has a lot to do with gearing and I want to switch to bead locks but what size will work best with the pullers and pinnion combos 1.9 or 2.2 ? and last, batterys. One pack on the front axel ? or one pack on both axels 6 cells or 7 cells ? I will be building my own packs, so no lipos and then what milliamp for the cells 1500 1600 etc . . . thanks and as soon as I can get this back to at least a roller I will post pics. thanks. Leon |

I would get this pinion pack http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXUFE3&P=7 or get two berg pinions from TCS. I am running the stock berg pinions in my CC with the 454s. For the CC axles I would keep with 1.9 wheels. 2.2s would put a lot of stress on the driveline. 7 cells on the front axle sounds good, 1500s are most stable last I used nimh. |
