Default locking out rear steer

id like to lock out my rear steering to be able to conform to usrcca rules for 2.2 class. i have traxxas rod ends and would like to do this on my own instead having to wait for the kit to be shipped here. any tips on doing so?

The conversion is easy; I used a short Associated turnbuckle (a length of threaded rod will work fine), two Traxxas rod ends, and a 4-40 screw to go into the hole in the gearcase. I also used a slightly longer M3 screw and a spacer to bring the lessen the angle of the tie-rod. That's basically what comes in the kit from Duratrax.

I'm sure you can work something out with that. It looks like the Duratrax kit has a flanged pipe that fits over the servo plate postS you could put the plate on top of it. If you cut off the servo mounting post that's molded in place you could put the battery even lower.
