Default My CC

My ongoing project:

Custom Links.. Made of Brass Tube, Threaded Rod from Home Depot, Traxxas Rod ends
Stock ESC.. still waiting for my Mamba Max
Hitec Servo 645MG.. waiting for my Hitec aluminum servo horn
Traxxas Big Bore rear shocks...I have to trim the back of the CC body for more clearance
TQ3
Locked out rear steer
I dont know if you notice the front shocks, I put two springs together. It actually works a little stiffer to compensate the rear Big Bore.
It really made a big difference on lengthening the links, the clod stall is not as bad compare to the stock set up.

Looking good, the brass goes well with the body colors.

Did you use every sticker on the sheet?

medina619 sorry im at work right now, but when I get home I will post it here right away. I actually did some minor adjustment on the lower rear links, I bent it a little bit to get a little clearance. I will do the same to the front. I will post some pictures when I get a chance. thanks for the comment.

Bearings and metal gears to handle the motors.

For the CC, yes it is way better than the HH 454. The 454 is VERY powerful, but not exactly smooth at low RPM. The banebots motors suit the CC perfectly with 8 to 10 cells to feed them. The Banebots motors are very torquey, smooth and controllable.

I think I am going to have to order some of those motors, sounds like they are pretty descent.

I will try to put the motors in with my plastic gears, I will see what will happen! brokenb4 said just easy on the throttle it should be ok for a while. I spent a lot of money already on my rig I can't afford to buy metals gears for now.

I dropped mine to 5 cells on each battery for a total of 10 cells yesterday an it seems to still have great power, just a little insurance to help the gears live that much longer.
