| Can a Cliff Climber run standard stick packs with connector adapter
Like the title says can a CC run a standard stick pack if you use the standard to micro connector adapter. I ordered mine and just saw requires 2 6-cell batteries and didn't pay attention to the 2/3a part so all I got to run in it are standard stick packs. Is the battery box long enough for them to fit? Will one of them fit across the front axle? Mine should be in tomorrow and I was just wondering if I need to make the hour drive to the hobby shop to get batteries. I searched and couldn't find a definite answer. Thanks in advance! |

No... You have to pull the pack appart and re-arrange the cells in order to get them to work.

| how does that thing run with all that wieght? Looks like your shocks are compressed to much to get alot of flex out of them...

Don't know about all the weight being up high, but I imagine it performs similar to droop suspension, all the travel is downtravel.

The shocks are mostly compressed so it is basically a droop set up. I run it on my scalers and you see a lot of comp rigs set up for droop. It still has tons of articulation it just keeps the weight low. I lowered the body posts so the batteries are actually lower than the stock position. I think the added weight helps. It doesn't roll unless you get it really tilted. It side hills just fine.:-P I started a thread for it to keep track of the mods as I tinker with it. Here is the link to that if you want more info.
