| Broken Metal Gear
Anyone broke the metal gears TWICE! Just installed a second metal gear in the front diff and it broke in about 10 minutes. They should waranty a gear if only last 10 minutes. |

Just wondering, are you running full bearings?

Yes full bearings and synthetic grease on the gears. I lifted the truck off the ground and ran the truck with no load to break in the gears. I know when you put new diff gears in a truck or car you need to break them in. So I ran the truck for 1 minute with the truck in the air. The truck was running good when the grears broke. :-(

I haven't run my scaler yet, but I am worried that I will buy these gears (about $60 from tower) and will be disappointed. Any good stories about them?
