Default Series motor wiring?

I am running my scale rig with a couple of vendetta buggy motors in parallel through my sidewinder 1/10 scale esc. If I run the motors in series, what would change? Higher speed or more torque?

I believe series gives half the speed with twice the torque.

I'm not JRH, so there is a little chance what I'm going to say is not completely correct, but I think it is not a good idea at all to put the motors in series. I belive you get half the speed and half the torque, it is a nonsense.

This method of wiring gives you higher torque and longer run times.
Speaking of series, from the above link. I think I'll rewire mine to series and check it out for myself.

Interesting, I'm gonna have to give this a try too, just as soon as I finish building mine.
