| Here's what it looks like at the moment. Almost stock :? : 6Cell Sub-C on Front axle 1/10th ESC powering both motors in parallel (i guess) Traxxas waterproof servo on rear axle, Some other servo on the front axle (good thing they do rotate in different directions, so no need for spacer on the rear To-do list: Need to clock the front axle real bad!!! Extend the wheelbase and change the mounting position of the lower links on the stock chassis... May be some day some custom chassis, who knows Today i've painted the body, cuz i was sick of bashing this thing with a transperant body NOTE: This is my first ever body paint + the body has 5hrs of driving and scratching the protective film ... (doh, next time i'll know not to bash until painted First color - LRP "ROT" (red) ![]() few coats of that should do it... Second color(main) - LRP "WEISS" (white) ![]() you can actually see here that i had to mask the outside, cuz the protective film was ruined... Done and decaled (masking sucks btw!!) ![]() ![]() ![]() Sitting on the CC: ![]() I tried to do something like Bronco style with the front decals... Meh, i still like it better than the stock DTX grill thingy. ![]() ![]() Top View of the "Japanese Empire Flag" That's it, hope you like my first try at painting a body. A few heads up for the other first timers in terms of masking complicated thingies: 1. TAKE YOUR TIME WHEN MASKING 2. Use a fresh masking tape (mine wasnt sticking that good so that's why i got splashes) 3. Use a sharp (as sharp as possible/new) exacto knife. Mine weren't 4. Oh, and don't screw up the protective film on the outside of the body ;) Last edited by ccbg; 06-10-2009 at 11:00 AM. |

| The banebots are lower voltage than stock to begin with, i think. That's why it's faster... Well... it's fast enough for me, as i said, may be 1 or 2 more cells would be perfect. |
