Default cc rtr help

ok im buying the cc rtr from my local hobby shop but what battery and charger can i get thats cheaper. i already have a nylint crawler and charger but idk if it will fit or work

It probably won't work you need a battery with a specific plug and i don't think the nylint is the same.

The battery you need is a 2/3A 6 cell stick pack with the HPI/ Duratrax mini plug. Those batteries (or ones like it), are used in all Duratrax 1/18th vehicles and some other ones. Try ebay for cheaper battery's or cheap battery packs dot com.

I would get rid of the stock end and put a deans connecter.

x2, when you finally get your own batteries switch everything over to deans plugs, they are much better at transfering the power

Not sure, the CC is designed for these style batts:



The battery you pictured has the wrong cell configuration and I can't point you to the right adapter, the plug on it looks like one for a Heli or a radio.

those battery packs are 5 cells only giving you 6.0volts, you might experience a lot of clod stall on climbs.

Yeah the CC is originally meant for 12-cell. 6-cell and it's weak, 5 and it may not even run depending on your ESC. And if it does, like teamvaladezhobb said, no torque at all.
